Introduction:
We are Tia, Pooh, and Kamryn, a group of Creative Technologists studying at the University of the Arts London. As multimedia artists with unique backgrounds, we’ve come together to collaborate on a digital exhibit focused on the reality of dreams and location.
Project Overview:
Our collaborative work “Dreamscape” is an interactive environment that encourages viewers to question the relationship between physical and cognitive location in dream-like realities. The exhibit will integrate technologies such as video and computation with visuals and soundscapes to create a narrative that displays our separate work. It will be hosted on Tumblr for easy access and to provide a cohesive platform to interact with. Our separate works explore how we uniquely view reality and consciousness.
Target Audience:
- Philosophists
- Deep Thinkers
- Digital Curators
- Technological enthusiasts
Key Objectives:
- (What) To Question: the link between reality and human consciousness.
- (Why) To Explore: The activity of the brain during physical rest
- (How) Medium: Through research and visualisations, and the use of digital apps such as Touch Design
Timeline:
There is no plan of taking down the page at any point, therefore the exhibit could run for eternity, like being stuck in a new reality forever. All content will be accessible on the page at the start of the exhibit.
Conclusion:
Our exhibition aims to link the activity of the brain during physical rests, with research and digital visualisation. Through scrolling through our curated digital exhibition on Tumblr, our target audience will be able to visually experience our objectives.
