WEEK 9: CURATION

Task:

  • In your collaboration groups create a digital exhibition that displays at least one piece of work from each person in the group. This may be anything from a video reel right through to a website, use your imagination and get creative.

Note: Our team decided to do it solo since communication wasn’t really good during this time since it was Christmas break.

Introduction

This week, I’ve decided to create and curate a digital exhibition with A.I Images on the art based on last week’s theme ‘DREAMS’. I explored how dreams merge and connect with reality and the unseen. Specifically, I explore generations and angels as I believe what happens in a family lineage gets passed down, physically, circumstantially and spiritually. I believe I can see the evolvement of my being as I see these visions. I also think that dreams can predict death, life and circumstances before they formulate physically because there is an unseen world at work.

Parallel Universe

Habakkuk 2:3 (NLT)

This vision is for a future time.
It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.
If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently,
for it will surely take place.
    It will not be delayed.

Process:

The process wasn’t that long, I just had to write some prompts like ‘ dream world, spiritual light, angels, Christian ‘ so that it could be tweaked to how I wanted it. I used deepai.org, it was free and delivered the prompts to a high quality.

I just used research, my personal belief and religion, teachings and understanding of the spiritual realm (seen through Jesus Christ) to inspire these ai images.

Reflection

What did I like?

I liked

  • Being able to experiment with A.I and prompts for images, this is my first time doing it properly
  • Understanding how to place my artistic ideas into my creative practice digitally
What didn’t I like?
  • Not being able to do more, in the time I had, I wish I developed them further.
  • Not being able to collaborate as a team.
PLANS for next time:
  • To understand and develop my prompts into another story out of this current one, how can I make a sequel?
  • Experiment with A.i
